Here you will find all the resources used in English tutorials. You may want to use these resources to help with your CATs and to revise before your post assessment at the end of the unit.

This first tutorial is an introduction to English and persuasive language.

This tutorial looks at how we differentiate between issues, topics and events in the media and in relating to persuasive writing.

This tutorial focuses on contentions and arguments. We will also begin learning how to effectively analyse an article and apply what we have learnt.

This tutorial encourages you to think about different prompts and issues and effective ways of deconstructing them.

This tutorial introduces you to the English CAT and what you will need to submit for your first assessment task. It also looks at persuasive language and different ways of applying these language techniques to your work.

This tutorial will help you to learn how to effectively structure a persuasive speech. We will read through an example and you will identify the purpose.
